i still think he belongs in the ATGs category

He is 45, so he's bound to have bad days.

wasnt a great fight vs jones from what i hear.

i don't know...the age card is about used up. he fought incredibly against pavlik but if what i'm hearing about this fight is accurate, along with the calzaghe fight and his long history of headbutts and liberal use of the rules, he's had enough slack cut for him. if he's too old to fight well or fair, then retire. don't pull this **** and say "respect me i'm old!"

 

I think most people are pissed off by the acting and **** rather than the actual trash fight.

 

You're not gonna find many people who'll disagree with you. He's never been an exciting fighter but he is a certain top 10 MW atg.

Hate him all you want for his antics last night, he's still a one of a kind fighter that has had an amazing career.

 

i paid to see the fight and bhop easily won all except 2 rounds
why was it 12 rounds - no title
yes bhop was acting i thought - lets see what happens when hes out of hospital
all jones did was feint and then one punch at a time
the hit behind the head was on purpose - look at replay
hard to look good when the other fighter is just trying to survive

He hit Roy blatantly in the balls when he knew the ref couldn't see it, Roy took it like a man and didn't fall down and start pouting..Hopkins started the dirty antics, not Roy.

Roy's low blow didn't even look far below the belt at all, and Hopkins was out of over a minute.

He also hit Roy behind the head as well.

Hopkins fought like that because that is what he does, not because he knew Roy was trying to survive.

to be honest. How good Pavlik is will be decided when Pavlik fights better guys. Pavlik should have entered the super 6, would have proved more than fighting a guy who is a 154 pound fighter. Sergio is too small.

 

How long will it be before people stop acting like the sauerland six was some tough man contest where you could just run down to the local gym and sign up? Is the term NOT INVITED really that difficult to comprehend?
