Europe will never dominate boxing over America due to the power that America has in boxing, with promoters and TV stations over their having so much control in the boxing world which is why most fighters try and make it big over there and because of that control their will always be a young American contender their with a decent record who can be hyped up and given title shots, which means their wil always be Americans in the mix for world title shots.
You know, why is it always all of Europe vs USA? Why not Europe vs. North America? What the **** is your guys problem with the USA anyway? It's not our fault the greatest fighters came from here. And frankly, I don't give a damn about Europe enough to make these dumbass, gutter Europe vs. USA posts.
LOL one fight sets some people off, get some perspective, but i wouldnt be suprised if this is a reaction to what we saw after abraham dirrell and the next fight will be a reaction to the last one and so on and on............
I'm Canadian but I totally agree with you. Eastside boxing has so many intelligent posters who like to debate using valid points and facts. Yet on the other hand, you have this handful of guys who attack America any chance they get. It screams "inferiority complex" ! Saying Americans lack toughness is beyond stupid. One of the guys actually had the audacity to site Direll vs Abraham as hometown corruption! Are you kidding me? What about Froch vs Direll? Froch would have been dq'd in any other venue other than his hometown of Nottingham! Anyways, this will be my last response to this idiocy because I prefer talking boxing with real boxing fans. Peace.
Inferiority complex? If any British fighter has a bit of success the Yanks go in to full trash the guy mode. THAT smacks of inferiority complex.
Ridiculous. I laugh when u guys talk like this..... when your best guys beat our afterthoughts, our washed guys and our green guys. And you guys thump your chest like you've accomplished something, or made inroads. Its such a predictable cycle. It shows how in touch you actually are with the sport.
Great Britain is completely distinct from Europe, and I certainly wouldn't say that John Ruiz isn't tough
