Any update on drake...???

    Can anyone give us any upto date news on how he is after the KO last night...:think

    Let's hope he is okay and can make a full recovery...

    I am only putting another post on here to put this thread back on the front page to see if anyone has any updated info on the opponent of Dilks last night...:think

    Probably longer than that I thought about 10/15 minutes. I hope the lads ok he was putting up a good fight until the ko, which was one of the worst i have seen

    ‘Dynamite’ Dilks makes statement to new Commonwealth champ Groves

    CARL DILKS remained on course for a shot at the Commonwealth super-middleweight title with a sickening knockout victory over Carl Drake on Saturday.

    The Sefton super-middle caught Drake right on the button 41 seconds into the sixth and final round.

    Referee Howard Foster immediately waved the contest over as the Plymouth puncher crashed down hard to the canvas.

    The 35-year-old required treatment in the centre of the ring for more than five minutes, before being stretchered to hospital for a check-up. He was later released.

    Was a decent little scrap that one.

    Drake gave Dilks a few problems but was too easy to hit with the jab, before getting nailed late on.

    Was a way better fight than Ancliff vs Gonzalez.
