Have the Klitscko's ever been in the ring with someone like Haye?

Herbie Hide has terrible skills.

The guy is one of the worst technical fighters I've seen that actually held a belt.

Threre is no comparison. If you believe that Haye is anything like Herbie Hyde, you are going to be in shock when and if he fights Wlad.

 

I don't think Haye is like Sanders.

Sanders had a different stance, he was a southpaw. What else? He was not so skilled, he was a slugger with a powerful and fast hook.

Haye's stance is orthodox. And he's more like a boxer with speed and power (not as much as Sanders), not a slugger.

Byrd and Haye? No. Haye has good attacking skills and a mediocre defense. Byrd is the opposite.


I think a better comparison is Haye with Herbie Hide, but Haye is better.

You can make either brother miss and counter them.

Haye is not Chambers. They have completely different styles.

Watch Joe Louis vs Primo Carnera, although that is an option that Haye can take.

 

We can't use Wlad as a comparison because Hide did not fight him. Use Vitali. Hide was fast and had good pop and an awful Chin. He was literally KOed by the wind of Vitali Klitschko's punches. Hide was the betting favorite in that fight by the way. :deal

 

Nobody has ever out boxed either Klitschko brother. Haye is not going to out box them he is going to have to take a risk go right at them and try to KO them. He was not willing to do that against Valuev who has less skills, speed, and power than the Klitschko's. If he would not do it against an oaf like Valuev he is not going to do it against either Klitschko.

 

I'm not sure that Haye can beat Vitali at this point. He certainly has the potential, but he's not as polished as he should be.

I'm pretty sure Vitali can take Haye's punches, but I'm not sure Haye can take Vitali's even though Vitali will find Haye a bit hard to hit, but not nearly as hard as he can be.

Haye has all the tools to beat both brothers.

I would favor Vitali at this point, but it has nothing to do with how Herbie Hyde. They are completely different fighters.

Ibragnov was making Wladimir look like a mix between a scared ***** and an oaf.

Fortunately for Wlad, Ibriganov didn't go there to fight. He went there to collect a paycheck, so Wlad didn't get hit with anything.

Not that Ibragnov would have won, but he would have at least put some hurt on Wlad.

And yes Wlad is very cautious and almost scared to engage, but all Haye has to do is time Wlad's jab, make him miss, and counter him. Is it easy, no. But Haye has the ability to do it, and he will. He will hit Wlad. The question is, has Wlad grown a chin?

I think because of his style Haye would find Vitali rather hard to hit or even hit clean. Now, I will admit Vitali is getting older which could be in Haye's favor who knows. Since Lennox who is close to Vitali's size nobody has been able to land clean on him hardly.

What I am saying is Haye cannot use the backwards movement and try to counter to beat either Klitschko it simply will not work and NOBODY that has beat either brother used that tactic. The fighters that were able to beat them took some big shots hung in there came forward and were able to either win by injury in Vitali's case or some sort of stoppage in Wlad's case. Sanders did not take a big punch but he came right at Wlad.

Sultan actually threw double the punches against Wlad that Haye did against Valuev. Not sure what you point was. Sultan did not do anything because he couldn't and even admitted such in interviews after the fight.
