I was very frustrated when this guy got carted off. He was a rarity.

This kid was the real deal. I was really looking forward to him fighting Angulo one day. Ah well.

  6. He would of been fighting for or have won a world championship by now. What a shame? I hope he comes back from where he left off.

    ...back in the free world.

Are there actual plans for him to pick up his career where he left off? Are his team all going to be available to drop whatever they've gotten up to in the meantime and resume working with him? Does he need to work his way back up the rankings? What kind of shape is he in? Same promoter? If so, is he as high a priority for them now, with all the unknown variables?

Simply nearing the end of his sentence isn't time to celebrate or declare his return. When he goes back to knocking suckas out on national TV on the regular, that's when..

No less than Pacquiao vs. Mayweather (RIP FOTC :|:|:|:|) :dead

That talk started way too fast, both were prospects at the time. Angulo's limits have pretty much been shown, and it has nothing to do with him being moved fast, he just has (and has hit) a pretty clear ceiling. Kirkland could have been (and I suppose still could be) potentially a much bigger deal. Oh well. We'll have to wait and see. Hopefully he doesn't do anything stupid and become mini-Ibeabuchi.
