Thats the whole point with fighting guys like Medley, etc...it simply doesn't show. Thats why he's been undefeated for the last few years.

You only have to look at fights 2 and 3 with Soliman. In fight 2 he stopped him while winning every round in the process, in the third fight he was on the receiving end of a few hits, lost rounds, and never looked like stopping him.

If Calzaghe didn't retire and the year was 2012, he would probably be done too, but if he only fought in the Welsh circuit or b grade Argies, he'd still be winning very easily.

Flash, chasing Felacio around a Tassie ring for ten rounds is hardly inspiring stuff mate.. Yes, you are right, the Medly fight was an improvement....

From Terribley ****, to just plain ****.

Flash, you know it, if the Mundine vs Medley was switched to Mundine vs Geale on the night, Geale would have romped home.
I know you're busting your gut helping him out, and I wish you luck. I look forward to seeing the improvments made.

Oh, the night I'd backed Mundine to kick Greens arse and picked up a few hundred lazy ones?? Yeah, I remember that night.. Green looked ****. Mundine would have beaten a fit, healthy and strong Green that night anyway. C'est la vie.

Mundine would NOT have beaten Geale on the night he fought Medley.

Flamengo we worked to beat Rob that night. Had he fought Daniel we would of trained accordingly. Everybody who fights Choc lifts. Its there state of origin. Anybody that boxed would understand what I mean.

I think many on here are overrating Medley simply because he fought a very close fight with Mundine.

He's yet to prove himself on the world stage, and just because he gave Mundine a tough night it doesn't make it a good choice of opponent for Mundine. It just says more about the decline of Mundine, and how he's only useful to make the domestic scene richer.

Flash, as his co-trainer, I'd suggest the best thing you took from the Medley fight is the knowlege of what needs to be improved and corrected. Agree?
