BOMBS AWAY - OGANOV VS BOLLING This content is protected By MARK McKENNA World of Boxing Sydney fight fans look forward to a smorgasbord of great action Thursday night at the Le Montage Bayside events centre with six bouts scheduled including two Super Middleweight title fights.:happy
Looking forward to this one..Bolling is stepping up bigtime in class and I really think he can do it. He is impressively solid for me so far, nothing to exceptional yet but this could be the fight that brings it out of him and steps him up to the next level. Its so good to see a guy step so far out of his comfort zone to better himself, it would be great to see this happen more and we could see some great fights. Vic is obviously very flawed and probably on the way out..but his punch separates the men from the boys.
No I just saw the article on the new sports nut site on squidoo. They have a poll that is running about 50-50
This looks like a pretty good card. Fightbet has Bolling favourite at $ 1.70. I've had a few modest dollars on him>. I think he can win this. Should be a good scrap. Is Vea V McCracken still happening ? It was reported on BR forum that Green had broken Vea's nose in a gym spar late last week.
Interesting fight. Two guys whose careers are going in different directions. I personally think Oganov may be finished as a fighter but as WhataRock said he can still bang and Bolling will have his hands full if he is to win but I think he can do it.
if oganov brings his good form then he should win comfortably. but his form in the contender was very sub standard. it is virtually impossible to knock him out so it should be entertaining for sure.
Yeah I gotta say reach, speed and youth wins this fight.....sad to say but Vic looks like his best days are passed.
I remember years ago when Oganov was climbing the ranks, he was criminally overrated. He caught the attention of quite a few European posters here asking us what he's like, and later on he was getting a little bit of media coverage, but he just really fizzled out. I think Fenech came out and said that he'd beat both Green and Mundine in the one night.
Maybe a few guys on this forum said the same thing :yep I wont mention any names but Kegsy was swinging bigtime....but I wont mention any names
