Froch is tailor made for Kessler. Not too fast, keeps walking into punches, and an extremely overrated chin. I'm telling you if Kessler doesnt KO Froch I'll be very dissapointed.

I used to see things just like you do, but then I watched Kessler against Ward and I think Kessler is not the same Kessler he was when he would have done just what you described, even if you allow for the fact that styles make fights and for the fact that Ward was fantastic. But, yeah, Kessler definitely has the style advantage, but it's not as pronounced as people make it out to be simply because Froch doesn't whilst being crude also mixes things up and can be unpredictable.

I think Kessler's will to win has turned into more of a will to survive, he doesn't look as sharp, his timing is not as good, and he doesn't even seem to hit as hard. I hope we will see the old Kessler against Froch, but I'm not holding my breath. On the other hand, Froch is getting slightly better and more confident with every fight and even though his chin is not iron, he is intelligent, tough and brave enough to do whatever it takes to survive, if it gets hot in there.

I think Froch will show a bit more movement, I think he will look to employ his jab more and if that doesn't work that well, he'll give it hell for leather, looking to bang Kessler out of there.

    Haha...

I'm not sure Kessler has learned his lesson from his last defeat. I was told by a reliable source that Kessler was focusing mainly on his conditioning going into the Ward fight and that he was neglecting sparring + tactical and technical training. If Kessler has learned his lesson and that the change of trainer has been Kessler´s choice and not his managements decision then I think we'll see an improved Kessler who will handle Froch convincingly. If not then Froch will manhandle Kessler.

...interesting... if Froch can do that to Kessler, he will have a good (yet smaller) chance of stopping Abraham too...

lol, as soon as a fighter takes 1 trip to the canvass his chin is ****.

Froch never went down as an amateur and tasted the canvass once against Taylor when he got caught cold.

He wasn't hurt and was communicating with his corner when he was down on one knee. Flash KD if ever I saw one.
