but haye needs someone to teach him to 'control' his punches, when he gets excited he throws stupid arm punches, he doesn't pick his shots, adam booth always comes with great gameplans but they need to bring someone in to help haye pick his shots etc.

everyones an expert arent they. you could pick holes in mayweather if you wanted to.

end of the day Haye is a 2 weight world champion after 24 fights, he won world titles abroad, he is one of the biggest draws in world boxing, a multi millionaire with his biggest pay days still to come. all this with know major promoter, and booth as his trainer and manager. in fact the only time Haye has lost is when he didnt listen to booth

For once, I agree with you Rob. It's like all these amateur accountants and negotiators who talk about contracts and deals. Ridiculous.

wow you guys really are butt hurt

haye goes wild when he hurts someone, he starts throwing arm punches and gets over excited, if his gonna fight guys like klitschko, adamek etc he's gonna have to get in control and pick his punches.

And you can easily pick flaws in Mayweather. He's a complete fighter in regards to his skillset, but he's got weaknesses.

I think he's a really good tactician and cornerman - always giving sound advice.... unlike most British trainers who resort to yelling and giving the fighter a bollocking if they drop a round.

One area I'm not convinced about is his ability as a conditioner. Haye always comes into the ring in really good shape, but his stamina isn't great - perhaps that's as much to do with him looking for the KO with nearly every punch rather than setting traps and fighting at a consistent pace throughout a round.

That said, very few fighters can fight every minute of every round, over a sustained period, at the top level. Ricky Hatton did it a few times, as did Calzaghe..... Pacquiao does it as well.

As mentioned above..... undisputed cruiser champ and heavy belt holder + 1 defence in under 25 fights..... compare that to other British fighters such as John Murray and Kevin Mitchell. I'd say Haye is in the lead by the length of the street.

He is excellent and the best new coach we have by an absolute mile, other young coaches like Farnell and Co could learn alot from him. He took Haye from very good am to the top of 2 weight divisions in under 25 fights, that is impressive.

theres always room for improvement though

Haye himself even said he got hit too much etc

in the past they hired jorge rubio to help haye with his defense, they should think about doing something like that again, maybe this time work with roach or ronnie shields or someone.

Part of reason there such a good partnership is that they know there limitations and are willing to accept help. Booth seems a good guy and truly cares for David's development. Not many trainers would allow another trainer to work with his fighter and project. Booth is always willing to learn and deserves major props.

I know there was talk of Roach helping Haye 6 months ago.

Butt hurt? What a typical, general forum type response. Just because we highlighted the stupidity of your post doesn't mean we have an emotional attachment to a fighter like all those gimps on the GF.

Haye's got this far doing what he does, if he can't beat a Klit with the skills and tactical acumen he has now, he never will imo.

 Booth a great corner man?

I must have been watching another Valuev fight that night. That joker almost cost Haye the title with his BS advice.
