Yea he did, right after the fight and for a little while after... It was P-Will and his promoters who refused the immediate rematch.... They only went after Marg after he ate Cotto up...

How the hell is it Margo's belt? Williams took that thing from him years ago.

I hope you were only being sarcastic. The greatest Mexican fighters pride themselves as being Aztec warriors, so don't let the actions of one get you into thinking that Margarito defines a true Aztec warrior like Sanchez and Chavez were. Alot of Mexicans are split on what they think of Margarito. If the evidence is there against him, like everyone, he should pay. I'm just don't want to judge a person that might be innocent in this. He's fighting vs. Roberto Garcia, a hard punching welter later this year. If Margo wins in spectacular fashion we are familiar in seeing, maybe there is proof he really didn't know what was in his wraps before. It might of happened to anyone. If he puts on a shitty performance, maybe his hands were plastered in the past. After seeing him fight vs. Garcia, then that should help clear things up.

What a whirlwind 2 years it's been for Margarito. After so many years of being under appreciated, he was finally able to attain the star status that he was so desperate for after his conquering of Cotto. In what seems like the very next day, he was exposed as a cheater which consequently has put his previous career triumphs into question and simultaneously suffered an embarrassing one sided beat down defeat.

I can understand the desperation of Margarito to recapture the short lived star status that he enjoyed after the Cotto fight and certainly a win over Pacquiao would go a long way in satisfying that goal. Although I don't think he's deserving of such an opportunity at this stage, if he is able to run off a few solid wins and regain some of the momentum that he previously built up with the boxing community, I wouldn't oppose an eventual showdown between he and Pac.

Actions fights between big name fighters are always good for the sport and there would be no shortage of action and big names if these two ever locked horns.

:rofl Oh God that picture set had me dying. I think Marg has blocked that day out of his memory. Or had it knocked out by Shane.

There would never have been a fight where i would want Pac to give such a beating to his opponent than this one if it were to happen.

next time margarito brings up wanting his belt back by fighting pac i would like for just one reporter to ask him how he feels about taking on mosley again, after all it was SSM that ****ed him up, not pac. mother****er just wants a phat paycheck and thats the last thing he deserves.

If Margarito fights clean from now on, and establishes himself as a contender then let him fight Pacqiuao.

It would be a better fight than

    Pac vs ODLH
    Pac vs Hatton
    Pac vs Clottey

I dont understand what the problem is if he fights clean from now on, and re-establishes himself.

If you don't understand people's problem with it now, you probably never will.
