I never said Mosley had no fans, I said Mayweather fans were loud and proud in Cali for the presser.

I'm agreeing with you dude. Mayweather helped sell his fight with De La Hoya, but Oscar was the A side of the fight. Mayweather is the biggest draw in boxing today and will sell fights easily.

Yes it is. Some of the people here though are acting like The Oscar,Hatton and Marquez fights are purely down to Floyd, they are not, Its like saying that the numbers Pac-Floyd does are only due to Floyd when people are paying to see both.

This is the funniest of the arguments... that Oscar is responsible for the numbers in his fight with Floyd and subsequently responsible for Floyd's drawing power now... which completely disregards the fact that Floyd gave Oscar his biggest Pay-Per-View numbers.

Obviously a single boxer isn't the ONLY one responsible for Pay-Per-View sales. Clottey pulled in some for Pacquiao, however low that number may have been.

That said, is it some coincidence that in common opponents, Floyd decimates Pacquiao? No, Floyd is the biggest draw in the sport, and you can't shoulder that off to anything other than what it is.

He wouldn't make as much money, which is the reason he fights.

I don't think any Americans were paying attention to how many fans Hatton had to come see him. Calzaghe would have had the same thing happen to him if that's the case.

So you think Mayweather would have pulled in that number with anyone then?

Yes, I think he would have done similar numbers with other fighters. If Hatton helped, it had to do with him being undefeated and being perceived as a legit threat more than anything.

    1. Come clean?? not really I just have no problem in stating facts

    2. What? you think Floyd would take 10k around the world to see him fight like Calzaghe,Hatton can, or fill a stadium like Paq or Klitscko despite the opponent being average? I would say Floyd is a better fighter than all of those mentioned.

    3. Be honest, its true aint it

    4. Glad you enoyed it.

    5. You take it with a grain of salt and agree with me. fair enough

    6. American PPV numbers/viewers. Half of Germany watch the Klits fight on tv fella, you think half of the USA know who Floyd is??

No I did, you made a point about Floyd being cheered more than Mosley at a press conf so I thought Mosley having very few followers (people that pay to see him fight exclusively) was a relevant point. :patsch

I do not, i feel Hatton's contribution to the numbers was more than what people on here think.
