I predict "Margarito-type performance" for Mosley against Mayweather. A Mosley that would like to kill his opponent in each and every punch thrown.

    - Mosley did not like how Floyd responded to his challenges in the past

    - Mosley can go for bigger fight ahead if he beats Floyd brutally (by KO)

    - Mosley is bigger, taller than Floyd and maybe only a bit slower.

Mosley will never get the Pac fight if he brutally KO's Floyd.

But are you saying that Mosley dominates Floyd every round like he did Margo?

Just so I know to come back to this thread.

Floyd will probably win an easy ud to be honest, but I hope I'm wrong. Stylistically it's a terrible matchup for shane.

Styles make fights and frankly things appear moreso in Mayweather's favour.

I can't see mayweather losing to Shane, if he takes the "I'm gonna knock you out approach"

There's no way Floyd is going to lose this in a decision. Not in Las Vegas.
Mosley is going to be frustrated with PBF's potshotting, etc. which obviously will work against him.

You're right though that's the only way he could defeat May. The question is does he have the stamina for it? I don't think so. He'll gas out late rounds.

I'd love to see Mayweather get destroyed like Margarito did, but it won't happen. I've never hated anyone so much, who is so good as Floyd.
Mosely was able to fire away at Margarito , because without the horseshoe in his glove, and because he is defensivly deficant, Margarito was beaten to the punch all night. That won't happen with Floyd, in fact , it will be Mayweather beating Mosely to the punch all night. Floyd won't go for the KO, Shane is too dangerous to take the chance, and Floyd is safety first.
    Floyd by unanimous decision, unfortunatly.

^ This is why I don't understand the hype for this fight. Any intelligent boxing fan knows that this is very likely going to be another boring Floyd potshot-fest. Shane might have his moments, but his chances seem slim.

why do people sy Shane gases late? He dropped Collazo late, was coming on strong in the second half of the Cotto fight, starched a 170lb Gorilla in the 12th with Mayorga and was showing no signs of slowing down against Margo.
    I don't get it?

I would expect Mosley to bring his A game as well and whether he forces a slugfest is yet to be seen. I expect this to be a tough fight yet a clear, but close, decision win for Mayweather in a fight where there will be good and bad moments for both guys. Margarito-like performance or not, this is not a tomato can like Margarito he's facing, he's fighting an A+ class fighter so he's in for hell regardless of how physically and mentally good he is going in and Shane knows it. He won't be able to abuse positioning with ease and beat Mayweather using the distance that benefits Mayweather like he did against that no-skill tomato can. He's fighting someone with brains in the ring and Shane knows it.

We'll see. Mosley has been talking alot about matching skills with Mayweather. Let's hope he doesn't get sucked into Floyd's games. I don't think Shane "holding the mirror up" is a good idea against this opponent.

I was puzzeled when I heard him say this. He's in trouble if he tries to out-Mayweather Mayweather.
