It just hit me that this would be a pretty neat match up. I'm not sure if this potential fight has been discussed before, but it would probably be a pretty big fight. Who do you think wins this match up?
Why? Because Pacquiao is too "small"? Pacquiao has successfully moved up in weight and Floyd fought really light as an amateur. I think it's a legit fight that the public would enjoy.
Good call. I'm not sure this would happen, though. I've a feeling that one of them might want to be sure that neither of them were on drugs and the other would suddenly develop a strange aversion to proving this.
holy crap, this would be an awesome match up! why has no one ever thought of it before? my gut feeling is that people will want this to happen but then it will all fall apart during contract negotiations...

Seriously, this is a good point. It would be a terrific match-up and I doubt there's a boxing fan on earth who wouldn't want to see it, but is it really so uncompromisingly and unmitigatedly critical that it's worth all the megatonnes of bull**** that's been defecated in its name? I'm not so sure.
