I think Dawson will take this but i'd love for Pascal to draw a fight out of him.

I'm 50/50 about this fight but IF Pacal wins and Froch wins the Super-Six, watch out for a re-match in late 2011 - early 2012.

Is it just people continuing to have too high an opinion of the wily old fox, or could it have something to do with Golden Boy owning Ring? :think

How can Hopkins be number four at light heavyweight, but number six P4P, with none of the three light heavyweights that The Ring thinks are better than him to be seen above him? :?

    That's actual nonsense.

It's got nothing to do with Golden Boy IMO. The fact that he's beating people like Pavlik at 43 means people overrate him somewhat. That let's him getaway with fighting people like Ornelas and Jones. He doesn't even fight frequently anymore and is only looking for big money yet he still gets ranked highly in the p4p lists :huh

Because Pascal is recovering from an operation.

I think that's a rematch that happens in the timeframe you mentioned regardless of what belts they may or may not hold at that time.

Pascal is my third favourite fighter. I wish him all the luck in the world at light heavy.

Because (and I'm not defending the P4P list) Hopkins will be getting a certain amount of credit for his career at 160 (or at least his past achievements) in the P4P list but not in the lt Heavy list.

I'll vote Labour if they check the Digital Economy Bill. Left to them I won't be able to download another fight ever. **** Mandelson...the ****.

    That's four years ago though.

Also it doesn't make a lot of sense as they took him out of the top ten altogether after his second loss to Taylor, then put him back in after he beat Tarver. If his achievements at 160 weren't enough to get him in the top ten in December 2005 when he had his last fight in the division, why do they count four years later on?

Either the P4P top ten is supposed to be the best ten current fighters regardless of weight or it's not. The Ring should define whether it is or it isn't and direct its rankings panel accordingly.
