Non of the fighters he fought are easy opponents.Except RICKY Hatton and Oscar the rest are killers, make no mistake about that. Easy opponents like that he should destroy with ease and he did unlike FLOY who had some trouble. But Clottey and Cotto are strong i think those were his best wins.FLOY avoided Cotto and CLottey.

Ricky Hatton was an easy opponent?
    :huh
He was the linear, legit, Light-Welterweight Champion of the World. Unbeaten at the weight and ranked #1.

I don't put a great deal of stock in the Oscar De La Hoya victory, the rubber match with Morales, or the rematch with Marco, but everything else is pretty slick.

I don't agree with you. His wins against the Mexican greats are as important as his wins against Hatton and Cotto. Barrera and Morales are legends and first ballots hall of famers. I'm Cotto fan he is a borderline hall of famer and Hatton was just a very good fighter. Cotton and Hatton were big chalenges because of their size advantage but pound for pound Morales and Barrera were better for me

Pac has been very successfull in the past 3 or 4 years. But out of all those victory's,there is one to me that stands out the most and i personaly give Manny his do for.The 11 rd KO victory over Miguel Cotto.

Even though i do feel that Cotto was never the same fighter since he was beaten by Margo, and was more of a beast at 140lbs,i was still amazed by how Manny was able to walk right through Cotto's shots like he did.

He made Cotto come in at 145, and Clottey might've been paid off. Why didn't PAc agree to being tested within 14 days like Shane did??? We don't hate PAc, we just know that Pac never really won titles in 7 or 8 weight classes. Only a fool believes what you just typed lol...

FLOY avoided Cotto, Clottey and Margarito.I believe PAc is fighting concreto in Mexico next FLOY is avoiding Pac. Void is void.

The way he went up in weight at his age is what is unprecedented and better for his legacy than the wins over Barrera and Morales. Plus, he lost to Morales in their first fight.

Manny wasn't considered great until the last 2-3 years.

Most people on ESB had Pacquiao as an ATG before he beat Marquez in March 2008.

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30408

the he beat Marquez for the WBC and Lineal championship at Super Feather
destroyed Diaz for the WBC at Lightweight
    destroyed Oscar at WW
destroyed Hatton for the Lineal championship at JrWW
destroyed Cotto for the WBO championship at WW
dominated Clottey in his first title defense at WW

all those things just made him an even greater ATG

In that 2-3 years, Floyd could have fought and beaten Cotto, Margarito and Mosley. Floyd definitely would have been chosen as fighter of the decade.

Or he could have fought and lost to those guys. We'll never know.
