There was a Scottish Heavy who was fairly decent in the 50s was there not? A coloured fella I think. Canna mind his name just noo. The guy is older than my Grandad. The first 5 is easy but the next 5 is tricky as hell.
I think it was one of the fellas who really loves Tony Ayala. I remember commenting that I didn't think I'd ever hear someone saying that on the classic.
Define 'top fighter' he has some decent wins but certainly didnt face the divisions best, went 1-1 with an aged Medina and got a gift against Pollo or whatever hes called.
Buchanan was the best IMO... but we aint exactly Puerto Rico when it comes to producing lots of talent from a small country.
Everyone has off days but at his best, Harrison was probably the 4th best FW in the world & he`d have given the 3 above him a tough night & lost on points IMO... those other 3 FWs were as follows... no1-Morales, no2-MAB, no3-JMM.
No chance obviously Pacman was better, Guzman would have kicked his ass easily if that ever came off too but he pulled out of that fight twice. I'm not sure Polo wasnt just better than him too. Then you had Chi around as the WBC Champion and Chris John, Raheem, Soto and Juarez were all around at 126 during that time frame too and I'm not sure he'd have beaten any of them. Top 4 FW, NO CHANCE. Harrison had great conditioning and was strong as an ox but his skills were pretty sub par
