I keep hearing how Haye admits he has bad punch resistance in interviews and knows that makes for more exciting fights but I've never ever seen him say this. Doesn't anyone have any footage where he makes note of this? And him talking about how he gets weak to drain to the CW weak doesn't count.
I've only read interviews with him admitting it. I believe one was in the Sky Sports magazine. I'll find a direct quote, if you want? I still have it somewhere. He doesn't say it's "glass" or whatever though, just that he can be hurt.

Man Haye always talks about his weak chin. He plays it up sometimes, like it makes him a more exciting fighter or something. Frankly he living in a division right now where its pretty routine to get Knocked cold anyways so paradoxically it probably isn't as much of a hinderance as it might be at like lightweight were you are expected to take over 100 punches a fight.
I remember seeing one on Woody's videos on youtube. I dont think his chins that bad he got hit flush by Ruiz and Valuev....none of them are heavy hitters but Valuev with his sides thats alot of weight behind a punch
I'm not sure about footage but he give an interview for GQ Magazine (Feb 2010) and was quoted ... "I'll always have a suspect chin. Anyone who's been down always will have. But I've never been on the canvas for longer than eight seconds. You can train yourself to take punishment."
Valuev can't punch for ****. He hadn't had a knockout in 4 years when he met Haye. He couldn't even hurt an ancient Evander Holyfield who had been Kayoed by James Toney years early. Valuev was always a pillow-puncher. I can't even remember the last time Ruiz had a big kayo. Probably last century.
Ok then, so in response to that. Who seriously believes that now Holyfield is "ancient" that the one thing can't do is take the shots he use to. Personally, thats the one thing I think he can still do.
