15 rounds, although obviously it isn't going to go on for that long.

I've got my main man Big Daddy Bowe via murder.

    Who you got?

Bowe. He'd be sore in the morning though.

I think Riddick, pays him a little "step aside cash" and goes after someone else.

Not a fair matchup. As much as I like Langford, Bowe was simply too damn big and strong for him.

Bowe at his absolute best may be a top 5 heavyweight. Sadly, he didn't care enough, but he probably could have been at that level if he had the committment of a Frazier or Holyfield.

Because of that, Langford may win 1 in 15, but at his very best in one fight, Bowe would slaughter him. Easily.

This is probably not a matchup that would be allowed to take place unless it was during Langford's era, where the perameters that defined a heavyweight were clearly different. Langford tangoed with the very best heavyweights of his era, including some of considerable size. He was forced to adapt to many different fighting styles, and profiles. I have never viewed any footage of Langford, and don't know for sure what's available, but his skills and accomplishments are very highly regarded by the most respected historians.

Riddick Bowe, had an impressive run for the brief time that it lasted. He turned pro around 1988, and retired I believe in 1997 or 98. In 44 pro fights, he was never stopped or Ko'd, and had wins over all time great Holyfield, plus contenders Coetzer, Seldon, Hide, Donald and a few others. None of these men are remotely regarded in the same sense as Langford, but they were at least decent fighters who possesed a fair amount of modern athleticism and skill. It wouldn't be appropriate for me to make a solid pick on who would take this one, seeing as how I've never watched Langford fight, but for the record, Bowe was never stopped and only lost once, plus never struggled much with smaller fighters. Langford would be giving up too much in the way of height and weight here. We also have to consider that he fought under London prize rules, and not Queensbury.

I go with Bowe, but its a blind shot in the dark.

I think Langford is probably a top ten P4P although such little footage does not help. I think its safe to say p4p he was the best of his generation. But against a modern heavyweight he would have been koed in a round. Bowe KO1

I really appreciate the body of the women in your avator John. I can remember the days in America where the Gym was one of the last places where a man could lay eyes on a women with a sculpted figure. Unfortunately, even the healthclubs are now filled with over weight deconditioned bodies.

    Ah the good old days:roll:
