If anyone has seen the fight from the amateurs - it's freely available on Youtube - then they would know that the punch Haye knocked Solis down with in the first round would have ended the fight in the pros. Haye was stopped on his feet after gassing - he'd had a tough route to the final and tried to bomb Solis out after decking him in the 1st. Haye would knock him out at some point.
i say haye by ko, haye badly hurt solis as a amatuer with headgear etc and only lost because he gased ala thompson! i think he has rectified this problem now and would win if they fought again

sorry lads hayes just got to much for solis and his stamina although sill a problem wont come into it as its over in 5 for me solis is way to green and not savvy enough for haye yet
Haye is a belt holder who's beaten three old men who couldn't punch. We'll see what happens when he gets in the ring with a young fighter that can punch and is a natural heavy like Solis, Arreola or even Peter. I'm not listing Wlad, in case you're wondering, because he's not really young and he wouldn't have to knock Haye out to beat him.
Solis is a good fighter. If you don't know that you're just a delusional nuthugger. Would he beat Haye, probably not. But he'd have a puncher's chance. And the fact is that Haye has never taken a shot from a heavyweight that can punch. Valuev, Ruiz, Barret? That's some Murder's Row there. None of them can bang worth a ****. Also, no one is relying on Solis to beat Haye...The Klitschkos will likely take care of that if they ever get in the same ring.
