yes before simpson came to my gym, simpson was out of sorts that night and only got beat by a point, simpson would stop him now.the only meaningful fight for john is martin lindsay imo, there by far the best two feather weights in UK.

I saw Ross Henderson in the ams last year and he looked like a good prospect. No chance of him turning over?

This time next year with a couple of confidence building fights I can see Paul moving up in the rankings and conquering europe on his way to better things hopefully. I rate Simpson and Lindsay, I really do (Simpson v Lindsay in Belfast will be a belter but John will prove too good for the Irishman) but I dont think they will make it onto Pauls radar in 2 or 3 years from now. Simpson could certainly make Euro level imo but I cant see Lindsay getting much further than where he is now but I can see Paul making it to the top with the proper training and the right team around him. In comparison to the other two he's just a kid really and already done more than most fighters had had at the same age.

Paul is at the moment back in training . He has signed a promotional deal with Frank Warren . There is no fight on the cards at the moment there was word about him ment to be fighting in May on the Ricky Burns undercard but that is not happening as far as Paul is aware . Paul never broke his hand at all . He is not managed by Tommy anymore and he is now being trained by Terry Mccormack in the Lochend Amateur Boxing Club in Edinburgh and seems to be doing really well and gaining more confidence as the days go by . Hopefully he will be back in the ring soon .
