    Dont forget the low blows on Morales as well as the deliberate hitting both Morales & Pac on the beak because they were kicking his ass.

    with all respect to holyfield he is nowhere near hopkins.
    they are both old , bald and use their heads , but , holyfield did not use most of hopkins' techniques , such as pushing , hitting on the break , holding and hitting , faking lowblows , and many others. the only common is headbutts.

    Not sure there's anyway of not having Luis Resto as number 1. TBH if he's not on your list somewhere then your list is crap. Dude was diiiirty. To be honest so is Panama Lewis, can't believe he's still out there training. Dirty bas*rds

    and to your claim of resto as the dirtiest : was he aware of the criminal setting of his wraps/gloves ?
    do you think that pre fight that is what goes on in a fighters' mind ?

    i think bernard actually practices headbutts , pushes , holding and hitting , elbows , rabbit punches and acting among others with his trainers and sparing partners. as well as MMgAy.

    bernard made cheating his life philosophy , a strategy , tactic and a cause in itself.

    no padding in the gloves is certainly dirty.. (resto)

    cotto deserves mention seemed to be pretty dirty... always the headbutts... lots of hitting low. he would beast on the smaller faster guys..

    there are two types of dirty fighters those who are blatant because they have little else going for them, which i have no respect for, and those who are smart fighters and employ it as part of their game plan. although illegal, they know when to foul to avoid detection by the ref, and use it to gain the advantage. of the fighters i have seen pedroza, wilfredo gomez, hopkins holyfield. made it an art form. very seldom were any of those fighters penalized in the ring as they always had the referee out of position to catch their dirty work.

    resto belongs nowhere near this list. imo there is a difference between dirty, and criminal. resto literally brought a weapon into the ring.
