You are absolutely right about the $10 million dollar per pound clause. It was a punk ass move by Team Pacquiao. Just because Floyd agreed to it, does it make it right for Floyd to ask for extra testing when Pac has passed his all his official drug tests and then insinuate to the whole world Pac is on PEDs? Do you believe 2 wrongs make a right? :deal

Sorry I wasn't as predictable and stupid as you might have thought. Nice try trying to read my mind. Save your mind reading skills for the *****s, they are much, much more predictable. :hey

This is not true 'olympic style drug testing' simply because it is for a set limited time only.

Mosley may be getting 'randomly tested' now, but he had over a year beforehand where he knew the chances of a test were zero.

That's why actual olympic athletes can be tested at any time, in or out of competition.

So wait? Nobody has needed to go to the hospital to be treated for blood loss or have passed out? WTF, Bob Arum, Manny Pacquiao, and company essentially promised me that this experience was going to be so horrible that someone was going to have to be resuscitated and all we get is Shane Mosley getting a snow cone and bowling?

    :?

What do you want, live coverage of the blood being taken? Not sure how you will tell whether it's clean or not...

I still can't believe people think that Pac/Mayweather was actually about drug testing at the end of negotiations. Arum's been in the business a long time, it clearly came down to sticking it to Mayweather, not wanting to be pushed around by anyone, and big enough paydays for him (not the fighters, mind you).

I believe at some point it could have been about drug testing, but at the time it went to mediation, it was not about a drug test, but about money.

On topic, I'm glad that things are going well with the tests, and I hope they continue to go well, and that more boxers will be subjected to stricter rules for drug testing. Because at the end of the day, if current methods really are inadequate, then steps should be taken to make the sport better & safer.

This is why this is a problem.

These methods are still completely inadequate, but because of the Mayweathers' completely dishonest statements, people now think this is somekind of blueprint for the future.

Until there is central year round random testing (whether you are currently training for a fight or not) for professional boxers, this is not a system that people can have any faith in.
