[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6ckwhJCREY[/ame] was a HUGE shock the roy jones we knew ended that night his BODY was LIMP...
That was a perfect punch, Roy never saw it coming. After this loss it has been all downhill for Jones... sad really
I guarantee nobody in the entire world put a bet on Ottke to KO Mundine. That was just ****ing bizarre.
Sometimes I like to pretend that after RJJ beat Ruiz for the heavyweight title he announced his retirement.... ....and then I get hit by a reality check.
I love that knockout (not in a spiteful way or anything). "You got any excuses tonight Roy", you couldn't have scripted it better. I beginning to like Taver after all these years, man can he talk.

To me its always been a lucky punch, Tarver didnt deserve that win, he's a bonafide bum who's made his name off that victory. The fact he didnt win a single round out of 36 againt hopkins and Dawson, is more his level.
Yep that was the last night we saw the 'real' Roy Jones. Ever since then he hesitates, jumps in the air and plods around on stiff legs. Sad stuff, the guy was truly one of the best ever before that punch.
I think he became shot after this fight. To be more detailed, Jones was past prime in the first Tarver fights and shot in the third and any fight after it in my opinion. I was(still am) a Jones fan at the time this occured so you can only imagine how I felt the first time I watched this.....
He wasn't a bum he beat Glen in the rematch and beat Harding, someone Dawson fought. He was a worthy lt.hvy. and Hopkins got a good win over him. I'm still bothered that Dawson gave him a rematch since he dominated him in the first fight but in the second Tarver did better and I enjoyed both fights.
