Winky Wright vs Kelly Pavlik

Kelly pounds the **** out of Winky and eventually stops sometime after 9 rounds or so. Would probably look a lot like Pavlik - McKart.

McKart was very much "a poor man's Winky Wright." A big part of the reason for the Pavlik/McKart fight was that Winky said "NO!!"

 

Difference: Wright was a excellent fighter

No, I do not know it. I do, however, know the history. Winky ignored Pavlik, talked ****, priced himself out of fights, and then when Arum ask Winky to go beat up Sturm so KP and WW could do a unification fight, Winky ignored Arum.

 

I guess that must be why Winky fought McKart 3 times. Winky fights guys who suckatsch

Winky never fought for Arum so why would he ? There is no way Pavlik could have stopped a prime Winky Wright.

 

As of now, Pavlik would probably just out-work him. In his prime, Winky was a much better fighter though, and would school Pavlik worse than B-Hop did. If that's even possible.

 

We are trying to argue with guys who believe every word that Bob Arum says... it's just pointless, they know absolutely nothing about boxing outside of Kelly Pavlik.
