This. But... I want to see a rematch with Cotto this summer...especially now that Cotto has ES as his trainer. :bbb
I would like to see this too, with Cotto getting a huge slice of the purse, 70/30 or maybe more. Margarito doesn't deserve the payday.
How the hell could he have not known if there was something irregular with his hand wraps? I mean, its not as if one could not see it or feel it! You would know, you just would. Its not as if something illegal was put in his food or drink. Trying to make out it was all his former trainer's doing is a cop out, a cowardly move! He does not deserve any fights that will enable him to get good paydays. I do not even think Cotto will entertain the thought of a rematch!
Margarito was hated before the allegations, and continues to be hated. Difference now is haters will cling into this sloppy, unprofessional, inconclusive case against him. Traces of sulfur and Calcium....ReallY????! That's all they have?!
And an ass whoppin by Shane Mosley how more do people want him to suffer? He did his time he should be allowed to fight again and if he's caught again then put a ban on him.
The CSAC ruled that Margartio did not know that illegal inserts were being placed in his wraps. Richardson also believes Margo didn't know. In fact, Richardson asked for one of Margo's hands to be rewrapped. The inspectors said no because they had already checked the hand. Margo volunteered to have the hand re-wrapped because he said he had nothing to hide. It seems to me that he didn't know.
The haters will hate. They hated him before the Cotto and Mosley fights, they'll hate him after. No matter what you say, Margarito will always be hated. It doesn't matter that all they found were TRACES of sulfir and Calcium. Two substances that can be found in many things including sweat, skin, and blood! It doesn't matter that the Pads looked like regular old pads. It doesn't matter that MOSLEY said the pads felt soft. It doesn't matter that the wraps had been previously approved by an inspector. Haters will hate.
