I'm going to go out on a limb and take Paulie by close decision. Paulie's only losses are to Cotto, Hatton, and Juan Diaz (I thought he won this fight), and he's never been knocked out.
With Sherif Younan in his corner, he uses his feet to perfection and pumps that jab out all fight long. He rocked Diaz with a right uppercut in their last fight, and it looks like maybe his right hand is the healthiest it's been for a while.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I like Paulie's heart and fighting at MSG is an advantage. Freddie Roach will undoubtably have a good game plan in place to defeat Malignaggi, but if Paulie uses his feet and doesn't try to trade with Amir (I don't think he will), I like his chances.

    Malignaggi by close UD

    Good post. Don't agree though.

Maliganggi's best attributes are quick hands and good lateral movement. Khan has quicker hands, much more power and better footwork. I just think everything Malignaggi does well, Khan does better. Also with Freddie Roach in the corner you get bet the tactics are going to be spot on.

I'd go with a Khan UD, although I think he's improving all the time, and with the added power advantage, he could stop Maliganggi sometime around the 7th (ref waving it off, I imagine).

I think Khan is going to make an impression with his fight against Malignaggi with a stoppage.

Khan by clear decision, with a slim possibility of a late stoppage. For a supposedly slick fighter, Malignaggi is very easy to hit and Khan has become a very accurate puncher. Usually Paulie has an edge in speed that he can use to his advantage but he doesn't have that here and he doesn't have the power to test Khan's suspect chin. Really struggling to see a way for Paulie to actually win the fight.

Seconded. The logical result would be Khan on points (Malignaggi is a decent boxer but Khan is that little bit better than him all-round, and he's also on the rise whereas Malignaggi has probably already peaked), but I have a feeling Khan will want to make a statement on his US debut and after seeing his style in the Salita fight I think he's learnt how to power punch and will take out Malignaggi in the late rounds.

    Malignaggi by close decision.

Khan doesn't have anywhere near enough power to hurt Malignaggi and Malignaggi can and will outbox him. Khan's speed if not much above Paulie's.

Also I want to see Khan lose. Maybe it more wishful thinking but I'll also be putting a cheeky bet on it aswell.

    I don't think Khan's chin is weak.

Khan has all the things going for him. He keeps his hands high, has fast hands and not a bad defense. Footwork is also nice. He has got decent power(I think we have not seen his real power because he does not sit to long on his punches)

Malignaggi has a quick jab(although nog quicker than Khan's), good footwork and rolls also nice.

I think Khan will win this, I think after 5 or 6 rounds paulie's face will be ...... of all the punches of khan.

A good thing to do against khan is to pressure him and put him against the ropes. But paulie is not the fighter that can do that.

For khan you need a good pressure boxer-puncher, with good power and enough reach.

So I think after 5 or 6 rounds paulie's face is not going to be pretty and the fight will be stopped the 10th round.

Paulie likes to keep the leading left low, flicking out his jab, and tries to block shots with his right and moving his head and hips. Got good movement and footwork but if pressed in the right way will try to duck and hold on.

Khan is going to expose that low left with pressure straight down the middle leading in with fast jab's which have a longer reach than Paulie's and straight rights all night. Paulie will try to move and duck out the way but Khan handspeed and pressing will pin him. Khan's use of his full reach by not hooking much, speed, and jab will be the key.

Khan win via TKO/KO inside 9rds
