Michael Katsidis v Kevin Mitchell

This has been discussed a lot on the Brit forum (but I haven't seen it discussed much on here) and most people are backing Kevin Mitchell over there and in the UK. I'm British and it would be nice to see him win (I'm also a Katsidis fan though) but I just dont see how Mitchell has any chance at all.

Katsidis is the guy that took Casamayor to the wire and gave him hell! Knocked him down and hurt him and was winning on the scorecards before being stupid.

Katsidis' D has improved (at least from what I saw in the Escobedo fight) so much and he can box if he wants to. People rave about Mitchell's performance against Prescott, yes it was OK but Mitchell was getting hit loads and Prescott was vastly overrated in the first place, especially in the UK where the majority only remember him for knocking out Khan in one, not dropping a SD to a fairly mediocre fighter a few fights later.

Mitchell is even the betting favourite here in the UK! albeit only slight.

I've got Katsidis by late TKO 9-12 (maybe Mitchell's granite chin will safe him from this) or a UD (117-11 ish, but being in the UK he'd probably win 115-113).

Who you got and why? If its Mitchell then try and convince me.

Odds are something like Mitchell 5/8 and Katsidis 8/5

 

Ahh just realised my poll is wrong. Obviously to everyone voting the second 'Katsidis TKO/KO' is meant to be Mitchell TKO/KO.

Think I'll make the trip, most probably on my larry as most of my mates have bloody uni exams. Why couldn't they pick a creative course like mine Unlucky for them the fight will be great.

Dont agree about the one-punch power at all but everyones entitled to their opinion and all weill be revealed soon enough.

As for Katsidis chin. Its strong he just took to many punches in that fight.
