Absolutely. Dont think Moreno will be able to handle the step up myself.

For a guy that's had the amateur success he's had, he's probably fought guys of moreno's level in the amateurs... I don't have a problem with this... Beibut Shumenov had about 8 fights before he fought for a world title.. Rigo is a more accomplished amateur than he is... Good deal...

This is pretty crazy to put him in against Moreno. Moreno can fight for twelve rounds and he's absolute top class.

119 (54 kg) used to be his amateur weight and you weigh in every morning during a tournament so there's no regaining weight. 54 should have been well below 118 for professional boxing.

He's was 119,5 in his last fight.

Moreno has a win over Cermeno who I thought was the goods.

This is a big step up but if Freddie Roach says hes ready, then hes ready.

WBA ordered Moreno to immediately rematch Cermeno (which from what I heard Cermeno should have won), so this is out the window.

Roach wasn't doing anything for him. Tell me one thing Rigo was doing better because of Roach. Frankly, it's probably a good split. Roach's focus is too divided on too many different fighters at the moment.

I'm confused, in the other thread you said Rigondeaux and Roach split, now he's still with Roach?
