Not really. It only works when the other fighter refuses to take the test. Not exactly a fool-proof way to get out of a fight.
In this case the only reason Povetkin is asking for it is because, thanks to ARD's deal with Sauerland, Povetkin himself has to undergo PED testing throughout his training camp.
Nonsense... the fight is probably in Germany and both TV companies (RTL by WK and ARD by POvetkin) have the same random Olympic testing procedure. They BOTH will get tested... so, what's the point in demanding anything?

If its in Germany, they will be randomly tested anyways. The GBO has the right to come to training camp anytime they want to test the fighters. this is nothing but a way to delay or get out of fighting Wlad
Even if Wlad is taking roids, he's too smart to get caught imo. His brother was not as lucky early in his career.
Wlad has had tests done in the past and passed them all, each and every one of them. And he will keep on passing them.
Maybe he can just change trainers again and say he needs more time with the new trainer. Should start a thread and a poll about what the next excuse should be.
Take a little planning... 1. Can't find his manhood 2. Changed trainers 3. Changed diapers OK. 1 & 3 might be the same.
