If Ruiz is shot, which I don't think he is, then who knows? But look at Wlad in against Chagaev...Ruiz would slaughter him, I would put money on it. Mind you I always put money on Ruiz. And James Toney.[/quote]

Send your money to Haiti or something like that it's a shame to trow them away :). As for you hating the Klits maybe I got you wrong you are just overestimating Ruiz which is always better :)

And maybe, just maybe....Haye doesn't hit as hard at heavyweight as some of you seem to think. Ever consider that??? Ruiz has made a career out of avoiding fighters with heavy punches. Hell, the last time he stepped in the ring with a heavy puncher (before Haye, of course) he got knocked down twice...that was agaisnt old Andrew Golota.

The Barret character that he dispatched in 6 went one to get Kayoed in two 7 months later by Solis. Sorry, but I don't think Haye hits nearly as hard as most of you claim. :D

As long as he wins he must hit hard. But is he going to hit something against the Klit brothers except from their jabs in his head???

It's a belief I hold. He's hurtful and he can overwhelm opponents and leave them battered but when he knocks them down they keep getting up. I'd have thought if he had the power that some claim then he'd be leaving opponents asleep on the canvas or doing a 'Berbick' dance and being saved by the ref. Still no sign of either at heavyweight yet.

the jabs are just the pepper before the sandwich.

the jab helps them target the straight right hand... they would be useless with out it.

    I don't think he is
Are you talking all time, or today? I think today he is probably up there but Wladimir hits harder in my opinion
and I think Tua still has better one punch KO power
but he is nowhere near any top ten heavyweight power list for all time.

Yeah it's going to be interesting to see how Haye react to the straight right. If he can actually take he has a chance. I don't think he can avoid it all night long. Anyway I hope Haye against either Klit happens because it is the only relevant fight in the HW division

I think Ruiz earned mad respect in that fight! And in his prime maybe would have beaten Haye.

Haye does not beat a klit with a defence like that!

He barely held in that fight and took his beating like a man.

Ruiz is a warrior, but Chagaev beat him convincingly. Wlad then beat Chagaev in a total shutout. I realise that logic doesn't always work, but in this case it definitely would

Hopefully Ruiz is planning retirement now, if the damage Haye claimed he took is true then its for his own good

I have a lot of respect for Ruiz after the Haye fight , He did well to get up after the first knock down and then the punch in the back of the head in the first round. Although he can frequently be ugly and boring to watch i do think he gets a bit of unfair criticism

I don't. Determination and toughness are admirable qualities. But Ruiz never had the talent to be a world champion...let alone three times!
