so is it Povs handlers that don't want to loose out on potential money knowing their fighter isn't ready or is Alex bitchin out of his mandatory status?

I doubt they could pull that off with Wlad though. Wlad is just too big a name now. He draws huge crowds and is good for the sport. I've said this before. If you shrink a picture of Wlad down and put him next to a Pavlik, Bute, etc.... he would fit right in. He is built like a MW/SMW, just larger. David Haye 'blew up' and added muscle and looks like a heavy weight proportionately. These guys are really clutching at straws.

nice, i'm telling you he needs a Rammstein ring entrance!

any word on the broadcast? i wouldn't argue against an internet ppv again, i hooked the laptop up to the big screen for Wlads fight and everything went smoothly. Plus that undercard was pretty entertaining, with Bank's odd KO etc

so are the days of free Klitschko fight over? i assume HBO isn't gonna pick anything up until its Haye, and espn probly cant afford or doesnt want to buy again...i thought the Gomez fight was entertaining enough for them to pick up another Vitali fight, but thats just me i guess

The Gomez fight sucked dick, just a notch better than his last snoozefest. The Arreola fight however was pretty damn good, a fight HBO wisely picked up. Mostly because of Arreola having such a huge mexican following in the states. I would bet alot Vitali's next fight wont get picked up by anyone with half a brain. If Wlad fights Povetkin, theres a 50/50 chance it gets picked up. If it's Haye, showtime or HBO will jump at the chance to show it.

Regular TV PPV would be fine with me!

But as others have said, the Internet PPV for the Wlad-Chambers fights was very good, as I also hooked up via my plasma and an HDMI cable.
