    Spin doctor?

So the contract when Mayweather weighed in wasn't for 147?

Why did he never pay a commission fine then?

The confusion on marquez's face when mayweather weighed 146 was priceless!

What an idiot, expecting floyd to weigh 144.

    Marquez got owned.

Or he didn't expect Mayweather to be 2lbs over, 600,000 extra dollars. Instead of 300,000.

Well, Guzman did not have a commission fine for that fight, therefore he was not cheating? Just because they changed the contract the very last minute, he did not cheat?

How about the JMM fine? When somebody pays someone, there must be a breach in agreement?

You seem not to understand contractual obligations.

The contract is between JMM and Mayweather, not Mayweather and NSAC, or JMM and NSAC.

Anyway, just cling on to your fantasy, because that is the only thing holding your sanity. Because if you admit that Mayweather cheated, I am sure that you will be looking for the nearest bridge or be buying a length of rope.

If they changed the limit, and he made it. How would he have cheated?

How about the JMM fine? When somebody pays someone, there must be a breach in agreement?

Clearly, he paid JMM to change the contract. JMM never had to agree.
Of course, but you do realize that the contract has to be filed to the NSAC right? You clearly don't. And you clearly want to live in YOUR fantasy world only believing the **** that suits you.

Fact is, Mayweather paid JMM to re do the contract, they did. The fight was set for 147. That's a fact. You are trying to make it out to be like Floyd showed up like Guzman and never made weight and never said anything.

Mayweather didn't cheat, but he was very unsportsmanlike.

as far as the commission rules are concerned, a WW fight is 147lbs and below. And it wasn't even a title fight anyways

Marquez and his team already knew about the renegotiated contract which they agreed to before the fight, so his shock was more for show at the weigh in than anything else.

If marquez refused to let floyd weigh 2lbs more surely by the rules floyd would have had to work it off and come back and be reweighed?

right after mayweather didn't make weight for the 144 lbs. Quit trying to make it seem like they originally signed for 147.

Whatever spin the GBP and Mayweather put in that scenario, any objective fan would see it as cheating, since they ****ed up team JMM by having them believed that the fight will be at 144, and then days before the fight, they (GBP and PBF) retrieved the already submitted contract to NSAC to change it, to PBF's advantage.

Call it unsportsmanlike if you like, or bullying, or just being an *******, but we know he cheated on that poor little guy, whatever ****in' reason he had.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=4485941

According to the source, the Marquez camp knew Wednesday night that Mayweather would not make weight because Mayweather's team made overtures to Golden Boy Promotions in an effort to have Marquez agree to change weight on the bout agreements to be filed with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

However, Marquez's contract had already been filed reading 144 pounds, according to commission executive director Keith Kizer. But Kizer said the bout agreement was retrieved from the commission by Golden Boy Promotions and changed to 147 with Marquez initialing it.

Cheated? They went to him and asked him to do the contract.

    And he did.
