    I agree with the mat thing. The greatest jukoda ever is Kimura. And he won most of his matches by ****ing knockout with some of the most viscous if not the most viscous throws the world has ever seen. He threw Helio around like a ****ing rag doll. But today people simply don't know how to hurt a man with a throw. All the grappling arts are so built around sport that the art of knocking a man unconscious with a single throw is almost forgotten.

    It will be interesting to see how much the popularity of MMA continues to grow in the states. I feel like its reached its peak as it seems to remain moderate over the last couple of years.
    But when boxing is popular, it's huge, it can take over anything at any time.

    Example: the biggest boxing match vs. the biggest MMA match
    ...you know what happens

    Well, Silva is considered one of the world's best Muay Thai artist and Maia is an expert in BJJ. Then you have fighters like Fedor who is the reigning Sambo champ and GSP who's almost at olympic level wrestling. The style clash is still there, just that they're a little more well-rounded.

    I agree that the biggest boxing matches > biggest mma matches. The mma wins hands down in the undercard department, though.

    exactly my thoughts.
    Boxing is in a lull if i have ever seen one....But its just temporary. I might not see david haye as the best heavyweight out there...But heavyweights are what the north american audience LOVES, and when the heavys are going strong, so is boxing. Add in a dude who can knock people out and is a cocky ass ******* to boot....MEDIA HYPE= Boxing is saved.
    I know I will probably get ripped on for saying that, but i think its a pretty valid statement

    Boxing is on the verge of the biggest selling/most popular fight since leonard vs hearns.

    If pac fights may, expect all sports media to blow it up.

    Then what?

    Floyd and Pac retire and what do we have left?

    What will the undercards look like?

    Will you be able to buy a copy of the fight on DVD or hire it from the video shop after?

    Will it be for a WBC Silver, Regular or Platinum, WBA Super Champion or Champion, IBF, IBO, WBO, IBA, Pan Pacific, North American world title?
