Anyone from the area (or close to the area) that knows how big these two (probably Sergio more so) have become in Argentina?

Does Martinez still reside in Argentina? I read somewhere that he has been training in Spain for quite some time. Not for sure tho.

  4. None of my mates have even heard of them.

Martinez has been based in Spain for most of his career so hes probably not well known in Argentina,as for Maidana some might know him but i think the majority of people dont have a clue who he is,thats cause the only sport that the people from Argentina care about is football everything else comes a distant second.

They are pretty popular, not in monzon or locche league but they are. They need to win more fights though.

I think Omar Narvaez is relatively popular in Argentina.

If soccer would've not existed boxing would've been the number one sport in argentina. Every argentine likes boxing (including me, im a pro boxer myself).

What about Victor Ramirez? I think he still lives in Argentina.... He's defended a title there too...
