this is actually really good news. The thought of Austin being in another mandatory was really depressing. The question is will Valuev take the fight, considering he already has a title shot with Haye in his future.

What is wrong with Austin? He did not deserve his spot anyway.

Only question left is who will be heavier at the weigh-in...

This is great news, much better than Austin. I think Solis will win a clear decision. I would rather see V. Klistchko vs. Valuev, but may the best man win. If it's V. Klitschko vs. Solis, that's fine too.

great news, does Haye still have to fight him?

Solis should win easily, this would line him up with Vitali which should make it an interesting fight

also Chagaev will probably beat Kali and get a shot against Haye

Good chance for Solis to put himself in the running for a title shot.

I like Solis, but he's way overweight. He wasn't the biggest puncher to begin with, and wearing your opponent down can be hard when your workrate is limited.

This might be one boring fight. Valuev won't be able to hit Solis clean (whose defence is excellent), and Solis will connect with a few punches every round without much effect, enroute to a boring decision win.

On the one hand, arrggghh as a fight.

On the other, it means no Haye-Valuev next. Which would be good news.

Or Valuev declines this fight. So WBC moves on to the next guy, which is Povetkin. He's not ducking a fight with Wlad to try to fight Vitaly. So it's on to the next one, and that's Toney.

Quite possible that Solis and Toney meet.

That is some funny ****, as if Don King and Sauerland are going to do that **** when Valuev has a rematch clause with Haye.
