I dont have records of my carbs but I've posted my card before you can ask Bill Butcher. I always got the impression MAB was hurting Morales more than vice versa. I've scored it differently a couple of times but always clearly to MAB, I just prefer what he does

Maybe I need to watch it again

I don't have my RBR with me but I know I had it 115-112 Barrera. There were some close rounds in the early going, but I felt more of the later rounds were clear.

This is what people have to understand when watching this fight. The general consensus is that Barrera won the first round, but for the last minute it's practically all Morales so on that basis, it can conceivably be given to Erik. From then on you have rounds 7 and 9 which could go either way. Depending on whether you give the rounds to Erik for work rate, or you give them to Marco for landing the harder shots...the result is the up in the air.

    1. Morales
    2. Barrera
    3. Morales
    4. Morales
    5. Morales
    6. Even
    7. Barrera
    8. Barrera
    9. Barrera
    0. Morales
    11. Barrera
    12. Barrera 10-8

I can change my verdict on rounds 1, 7, and 9 all the time.

Barrera was the sentimental favorite in the first and therefore a lot of people including the commentators found it easier to give him rounds. Vice versa in the return fight.

I Scored fight 2 and 3 for Barrera. I simply cannot relate to anyone who thinks the return match was anything close to being a robbery. Oh dear...

Well i saw the fight live and didnt score it as i was enjoying the moment to much, my estimation was that Barrera was robbed and that he probably won by 3 points.. Well when i went home and watched it on tape like you i had him only winning by one.

I though Morales won the 2nd fight by 2 points.

Had Barrera definitely winning the 3rd forgot how i scored that one.

I always thought Erik won that 1st fight..He won the second even more convincingly.

First off, due to Manny's friendship with EM, all pac fans are also EM fans. Second, this board has a major, throbbing hard on for EM, he's far more loved than MAB for whatever reason. I fully expect about 80% of posters to come in here saying 'me too!'. However, that doesn't change reality. Out in the real, non-ESB world, about 90% of boxing observers had the fight for MAB, and they are absolutely correct.

    1st fight, MAB won.
2nd fight, MAB took half the early rounds and all the late rounds. MAB won this fight. I seriously do not understand the 'controversy'.
3rd fight, very clear and easy to judge victory for MAB.

I love EM, he's in my top 5 favorite fighters of all time, but he lost this trilogy. Revisionist history in his favor isn't bringing him any honor, and it's disrespectful to the effort both he and MAB put forth in this war.

You really are a worthless tool. Pac and Morales don't like each other at all, and if you think I am a Morales fan check Nallege's thread where I have an argument with Bill about Pac and Morales. Your post is pure semen.

I have MAB winning the first (just), EM winning the second (clear) and MAB winning the third (just).

Close fight, but I thought Barrera finished the fight slightly fresher and less damaged.

I think MAB hurt EM with some good body shots in the second half of the final round. Buckled EM's knees a little.

Long time since I saw this one, but I thought MAB won the first fight.
