But how does someone getting smacked around, win a fight 118-110 though???? Does anyone know which of the judges had that card?? I'd love him to explain himself.

I only watched it from the 7th onwards and gave every round to the Frenchman.

I had Barker winning by a couple. A few rounds were hard to score either way.

However no idea how a judge could only have the French guy winning 2 rounds. It was a fairly close fight.

 

The point I was trying to make is that if you feel that Belghecham won by a single round, would it be so hard to conceive the possibility that others could've disagreed with your scorecard by a mere round causing them to believe that the right man had his hand raised?

 

But you gave it to him by 1 round, which indicates you thought it was a very close fight. How can you then deem it to be a robbery?

Can't believe the amount going for the french lad. I wasn't scoring but thought barker won most of the rounds on clean effective punching. Thought Barker would have dealt with him better than Lee but seemed to have went in trying to KO the guy for some reason. Barker will need to tighten the defence up if he want's to defend this title.

 

Just got home, I was at ringside at Ally Pally! I thought Barker nicked it, there was just a little bit more of his punches landing cleanly. Afif did flail away a lot but it looked to me like they were all blocked.

 

Most people in the british thread seem to think he won? strange that....... cough bias
