I doubt it. Theres always a chance if he lands the perfect shot but generally I don't see him getting much effect. Pavlik is much bigger than him, stronger, has a solid chin, Martinez is not a big hitter really.

 

Is Martinez going to borrow Margarito's wraps?

They better inspect his gloves pre and post fight....

 

The HBO broadcast team talked as if we were watching something like Arguello/Escallera, or Haglar/Hearns. In reality Williams/Martinez was a pretty sloppy fight. Fun to watch, but very sloppy.

 

That's my guess too.

I like both guys and will feel sorry for the one who loses, but what can you do.

 

Just watched Martinez/Cintron earlier. Cintron was moving into the punch. I'll have to watch the Williams fight again to see, but I know Williams was being very reckless and lunging in all night.

 

Even a know a sloppy fight when I see it. Paul's corner noticed it but Paul did what Paul was going to do.
