"Floyd is feather fisted, Manny is not" Got it Jeff Mayweather we knew that already, no need to sugar coat it. Although Jeff... Floyd is not quite feather fisted, decent power.

And were they dominant at those weights? More so, even, that at the lower weights?

Not that I think that Pac is on anything, because I don't, but you're still ignoring the finer points of the argument.

Have you ever been to asia? While Asian fighters are living full time in there own country they usually fight in much lower weight classes. I believe because of a combination of the extreme heat and diet.

Yeah food in asia is not as fattening as the U.S. He only really moved up in weight when he was training here.
My stance is this, I refuse to believe any accusations from a crackhead or his family without a sliver of proof. To me its all ****ing talk and innuendo. I think the mayweathers are starting to believe their own lies, its quite sad actually, floyd is really scared of losing to manny.

some of you guys make it like pac is doing this of physicality alone- and that is how he s beating people- but the fact is= he has become craftier , a much much better boxer than he was before. thats the main difference. his speed is the same , he s a bit heavier- but now he can really fight.

before he was just an awkward basic puncher- i remember the 2nd morales fight- i was so frustrated with him cos he threw the jab then the straight left- all nite- it was so so predictable. i remember me and my trainer saying god he s so basic, and awkward- he was always off balance after he threw.

what he has done to improve is amazing- because it is evident how much he has developed skill wise. anybody that knows boxing can see that. he s developed power in both hands, great balance, perfected the in and out movement, turning his opponent, throwing then slipping twice, all these beautiful things that i ve seen the gradual improvement, fight after fight, the improvemtn has been clear and gradual to me. plus he still has his awkwardness and unpredictablity - plus he s a southpaw.

its these reasons combined that have had him beating the oppposition, his skills and improved technique- the ability to throw a missile in the trenches- and get out quickly enough without getting hit. the accuracy of his punches, and most of all , his ability to throw off balance, from weird angles, without resetting- this is in fact- what allows him to catch guys unawares- and knock them out- not his power alone. look at his 2 kos of cotto-
    1. he throws a left as he steps in - then as he is passing cotto, manages to throw a very very short right to cottos temple , BEFORE his feet have even landed from the initial punch, cotto has seen the first- and is thinking that is that- and in completely unaware of another hand coming. its a quarterback player stepping back, throwing a pass while diving to the left, and then pulling out another ball and throwing another ball with his other hand- all before he hits the dirt.
    2. cotto returns fire upon pac, pac steps back throws a right which glances, and is stepping back and to the right- when he throws a left uppercut- the physics of this is again , amazing- try it at home, and see how much power u can generate. its hard to do. he s throwing one way while moving hte opposite direction-

no steroid will help you with the co-ordiniation and balance required to achieve these things. the reason why he s so good is beause he hasnt learnt the fundamentals correctly- like a young roy- he combines innate physical gifts- with amazing instints - with some great schooling to create a fighting machine which is impossible to prepare for- and impossible to predict.

i dont see why people are accusing him of drugs at all, the guy is strong- and fast- but he hasnt done it thru strenght and speed. all of his last opponents were clearly stronger than he. he s done it thru skill and ability. and hte reasons which i ve said. people are just looking at hte overview- oh pac ko d 3 welterweights in a row- without looking at the how and the who, theyre just looking at the what.

thats the last im going to speak on this- im so sick of people accusing pac with no proof. its the most tired and played out thread here.

What's sad is that people are trying to attribute these things to steroids. Either they don't understand boxing or they haven't followed Manny's career at all.

I think the steroid accusations from the Mayweather's are really built out of fear. They know how good Pacquiao really is, and their trying to undermine his accomplishments by making him out to be a cheater.

Remember when Floyd Sr said after the Hatton fight - "I wouldn't put my son in with Pacquiao." We know why.

    Great post.

All these other boxers are raised with good traininers and get taught the basics early, were Pac did not, he just had speed and power. Along comes Roach and teachs Pac to 'box' and everyone is supprised that he is getting better while getting bigger.

Floyd was taught the basics before he went to high school, His best days were at super feather, he was never going to improve much after that, same for guys like Oscar\SSM who would of had great trainers when they were younger, forget about MAB and co' as every third guy in Mexico could probly be a trainer.

A great trainer can do wonders, if a guy like Hamed was not so much of a **** and chose to listen to great trainers and not just focus on their speed or power, then they could improve as mush as Pac has.

Yeah. I'm 5'7" and very skinny at 115 lbs when I was sixteen, and I could not even bench press 100 lbs. Now I'm 180 lbs, and I'm not even gonna say how much I can bench press. I guess I'm on PEDs too. :tired

Anything between 140.1 pounds and 147 pounds is welterweight.
