    And therein lies the perfect example of how the HBO broadcast team treated the Williams/Martinez fight. Kellerman said, "Sergio Martinez is a super Carlos Quintana." Reality is that Sergio and Carlos do not fight anything alike.

    He threw 695 punches vs Rubio in 9 rounds (77 punches per round).

    845 punches in Taylor II (71 punches per round).

    460 punches in Taylor I in 6 and a half rounds (71 punches per round).

    What does it take for a fighter to call him a volume puncher?

    97 punches in the first round of the Miranda fight while Miranda threw 94 back at him.

    Yeah, couldn't find the Miranda fight compubox stats. They were both probably heading for a record of punches thrown in that fight.

    Same deal with the McKart fight. I don't have any punch stats, but KP over whelmed McKart with volume, accuracy, and power. One thing about Bronco is he always came into fights in good shape. Against KP there was one point where poor Bronco went to his knees from shear exaustion.

    If you listen to Pav's fans, all of Pav's opponents talk shite while Pav is humble. Pav can box like Muhammad Ali when he has to. Every last opponent PAv fights has done something wrong to the @#!#$! earth lol... It's like we are watching Gerry Cooney. We aren't, we're watching Kelly Pavlik. Even Cooney had to fight a Larry Holmes. When you lose to a Holmes or Hopkins, it's time to see what you're made of after that loss. Cooney didn't pan out, we don't know if PAv will pan out, but at least he won a title over a fighter who couldn't fight inside or use body shots. We are tired of Pav fighting bums. Step up, or get ate up!
