How is Cruiser Euro dominated when the best fighter is Steve Cunningham?

How is Light heavyweight dominated when the 2 best fighters are Chad Dawson and Jean Pascal?

How is Super middleweight dominated when you're two best fighters Abraham and Kessler got punked by 2 American prospects?

Strange world you Euro's live in when you think you dominate when you arent even the best non-americans in a division.

You do realise that a lot of European countries don't like each other don't you? That wars have been fought amongst them going back centuries? That they don't speak the same language?

I feel no more affiliation to European fighters than I do American fighters.

Its not a team sport, if there is a rivalry then I don't get it.

True. Mostly because rivalries are between countries and there is no country called "Europe".

Makes mw laugh when someone mentions how USA has ruled boxing for last 100 years, if we can use time as a factor then Europe wins by FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAr, since europe has been boxing for over 3000years. Just remeber europe creeated boxing as a sport and UK gave modern boxing its rules. So 3000 years+ vs 90y!:)

P.S before someone says its unfair to compare because america wasnt boxing at that time, well its not Europes fault u had to wait for the europeans to come and make america a modern civilisation:) After all many americans are just europeans who wanted a new name:)

3000 years? Seriously? So in 1000 BC, there were boxers traveling around fighting for titles in between hunting for food and **** like that?

I want to thank you for the lamest post of the week.

This is the first time I heard of this USA vs Europe rivalry. You Europeans can have it. No one in the United States give a damn about this so-called 'rivalry'.

Modern boxing didnt begin until the adoption of Queensbury rules. Until then it was a totally different sport.

What you posted doesnt make a bit of difference. Since the adoption of modern rules, America has reigned supreme.

Americans made America a modern civilization. Our ancestors left Europe because they wanted to get away from you.

Of course. Why would you wanna be an associate of a fading civilization that is going to be nothing but an Islamic garbage dump in the next 100 years?

I don't personally think there is much of a rivalry.

Ok, occasionally we get the odd person bringing it up like Hopkins when he first started making a noise a couple of years ago about moving up to heavyweight and he talked about bringing a HW title back to America but over all there isn't much of a rivalry.

Although there is a bit of a Europe v America rivalry in the super six that is not really indicative of a Europe v America rivalry in boxing as a whole. The super six rivalry is just due to the fact that when you stick equal numbers of people from different camps in any competitive situation then a rivalry, be it friendly or aggressive, will likely take place. ****, if you had three Europeans v three Americans in a tiddlywinks competition then im sure a fierce rivalry would start to show.

Well if you can dismiss the last 3000 years we can dismiss the last 90 , so lets look at how it currently is. You mention 2 euros in the super six getting beat by 2 americans but fail to mention 2 americans getting beat by 2 euros. You cant pick and choose what facts to use.

And i want to make clear im not anti american or anti anything. Im just tired of being told how we europeans are eurobums and far superior. In my eyes boxing is an individuals sport. Fighters will be just as happy to KO ppl from their own country if it furthers their career. After all Ward and Dirrell are not gonna hold hands and unite for sake of america just like Froch and Kessler wont.
