I think Audley would get beaten by both fury and sexton, you just need to drag him in to a tear up and he doesn't want to know. Fury had a good tear up with John Mc and proved he can take a punch and keep coming forward. Sexton has proved the same when he fought rogan. Dont know why you think Audley would KO anyone half decent, all he has beaten since he made his come back is a cruserweight, an irish lad that look to hit the deck as quick as possible, a fat mackem who could not even beat a novice last night and sprott who is now nothing more that a journey man in Germany!!!!!

Just because Fury took some good shots from McDermott doesn't exactly prove he can take a big punch. In his last fight against some journeyman he got his face busted up and it only lasted 1 round! That and the McDermott fight shows how leaky his defence is, plus he is very ponderous around the ring making him an even easier target. I do think Audley could take him out early on if Fury hasn't improved his defence.

Sexton was out on his feet against Rogan in the 1st fight, troubled in one of the rounds in their 2nd fight and I still have concerns about his stamina after the Chisora fight. Questionable chin and stamina lead me to think that Audley would stop him late on, but I do think Sexton has a good chance in this one.

If Audley hit either of them with the punch he knocked Sprott out with he would have stopped them as well. Say what you want about Sprott, but I have seen most of his losses and I have never seen him knocked out like he was.

 

He'd have no chance against Chisora. You saw how Sprott troubled him when he pressed forward.

 

It wasn't that Fury took some good shots from John Mc, it was the way he walked through them. As for his "busted face" I hardly call a trickle of a nose bleed a "busted face".

I think the shot that took sprott out would have taken most HW's out, but the fight should not have got to that point, how sprott or his corner did not realise Audley was not using his right had is beyond me, any other decent HW would have finish Audley off.

Fury is never going to have a great defence because of the type of fighter he is, he wants to get it on and fight, so he must confidence in his chin to want to fight that way.

If they did fight, which i dont think they will, Fury would be in his face from the first bell, until the 3rd round when Audley would lose heart and give in, and Fury would have a nose bleed, sorry "busted face".

 

Oh sorry about overly describing his face after some fight against a can, although I sure am glad that was a point you thought you needed to delve into detail about :roll:

So he took some licks off 'Big Bad' John McDermott, who has knocked out the chinny Pele Reid and had a very past-prime Danny Williams, who has hardly any punch resistance left, all over the place for one round, and walked through them...Wow!!!....it's hardly a gauge for just how good his chin is.

If they were to fight (which is very unlikely) then I hope that Fury would win for the sake of the future of the division in the UK. But unless he really does work hard in the gym, focusing on his fitness (he has decent stamina now, but it wouldn't hurt to lose the tyre he is currently carrying), defence and staying at range, then I don't see a bright future for him. If I see a big improvement in his rematch with McDermott and he 'beats' him this time, then I will be a believer again, but right now I am very sceptical of what he can do at the top of the domestic scene.

 

All these guys are pretty much garbage. The scene is terribly poor. I see Derek as the best of a bad bunch.

Tyson Fury has no defence, little power, no co-ordination as an athlete.

Sexton has a shakey chin, nice boxer but he's not very tough and thats his downfall, as a heavyweight it will be costly.

Audley Harrison is still the same Audley Harrison he always was. A wasted talent, no heart for the sport really, easily outhustled.


Derek is not amazing but he's not been hurt, he's aggressive, he can punch a bit. He looks the most solid proposition.
