At the end of the day we can't please all of the people all of the time but this may just be a storm in a teacup by suggesting there are camps "raging" by one thing or another. From the days of Ali, to James Toney and Floyd Mayweather Jnr, boxers have always trash-talked and slagged each other off and it generates interest and makes fights. Anyway, when you analyse both of the articles in question it's hardly trash-talk central is it? Was talking earlier to a pal, and pondering if you had a choice what upcoming fight would you like to attend. I speculated on Duddy-Chavez or even prizefighter[ well Corbett did box for my old club]. But Cotto- Foreman at Yankee Stadium would be a beauty also. What do think lads.
Ideally, I would be ringside to get as close as possible to experiencing Duddy smashing ultra-hypejob Chavez - but I cant get over to the States this summer. So, I am seriously thinking about going to Mitchell-Katsidis or Prizefighter to to Corbett in action. Or if there is a half decent card with Carlos on it (in England) I would go to that as well.....
