I'm not an Allan Green fan, but I'll be rooting for him against Ward. If Kessler beats Froch, and Green pulls a win out of his ass against Ward, that would mean all the first round winners lost in the second round. It would stand this tournament on its head, and put all six fighters in a virtual draw going into the third round.
So am I. I like Ward, but I feel Green has been somewhat under-appreciated and feel he's a better fighter than given credit for.
You are rooting for Green because Green was beatin by Miranda who was beatin by Pavlik. Green wins then Miranda's win looks so much better also making Miranda look better and finally making Pavlik's win over Miranda look better.
Green's biggest victory in his career is against...oh wait, he hasn't had one. How can anyone seriously like Allan Green. A guy with a big mouth who never backs it up in the ring. I hope Ward knocks him out.

That may be part of it. But the majority of it, I believe, is because the guy hates Ward more than any other fighter on Earth. It's a good thing Green's going to be nothing more than a statistic afterwards anyway.
Can you read? My reasons for wanting a Green win are exactly what I said they are. Find one single post where I said I EXPECT Green to win, and then find some where I mentioned the Green/Linton fight. Who the **** are you to question my character, or the veracity of my intial statements?
when i saw how green reacted to ward when the two were interviewed together at the direll-abraham fight, i know ward got this in the bag. green is coward who only talks behind people's back.
there was something seriously wrong with Green in the Miranda fight. The guy was looking down at his feet the whole fight. I do not feel that that is a real gauge of who green is. I think that he is a much better fighter than most give credit for. I think ward wins but Green has a very strong chance of an upset. I hate the stupid logic if A beats B, and B beats C, that makes A better than C. This is boxing not math and style makes fights. I usually like skilled fighters but there is something about Miranda that kinda grew on me. He does not win all (NONE) of the big fights but he I always fun to watch. As for Green I think he would have been a better match-up against AA than Taylor. he throws HARD straight punches and might have been able to do some damage to that rock hard chin of AA and he has a great set of whisker himself. Green/ Kessler is going to be very interesting in round three. Kessler will dominate the overachieving and overconfident Froch and might even KO him. Froch will go on to get KO'd by AA badly. I can see a four fighters ending up with 2 points at the bottom (froch, Dirrell, Green and Kessler . . . then what? Green beats Kessler who beat froch who beat dirrell . . . how would they break the tie?
My thoughts too , that or Boo wants everyone in the super 6 to destroy each other so Pavlik will be fresh enough to be competitive with them. But im rooting for Green though out of comic relief.
