Round 8 Yordan pawing with jabs and right hands. Caballero moves and jabs, laying off a bit offensively this round. Yordan takes advantage by pressing the action and gets some reaching right hands through. Caballero flurries but isn't landing as sharply as before. Yordan is now landing occasional hooks to go with the rights. I actually give that to Yordan. 79-72 Cab
Forget Juanma! I could have done better job than Yordan. I havent touch a pair of gloves in about 15 years
Ricky369, please log the **** off. Or at least GTFO of my thread. Yordan is a legitimate fighter, although obviously not a world-beater. Any boxing fan worth their salt has been aware of (if not necessarily a fan of) Caballero for a long time now. He is not some "new HBO product" being set up for a cash-out with JML or Gamboa. STFU with your nonsense.
Cab turning it up a bit, expect to see him sit down on his punches and get his man outta there. At first, I gave Yourdan a great chance to beat him given that he's the guy moving up and never thought it would be a total whitewash like this. This will end soon.
Caballero may have still landed a higher quantity, but they were pitty-pats compared to what he hit Yordan with before. Yordan landed some hard blows. Caballero has a good chin, too. I judge round-by-round. I still don't think Yordan's in this fight, and just because he edged the 8th doesn't mean the momentum isn't still 100% Caballero's.
lord is caballero is finding the body...some more slapping shots than others but damn, for someone who is obviously having their way with their opponent to not go head hunting and stick to the body is impressive
Round 9 Caballero back into an offensive rhythm now, keeping Daud cross-eyed with the jab and then bombing his body with uppercuts and leaning rights through the smokescreen. Yordan takes the punishment bravely, blocking some but nowhere enough of these shots. Commentators are looking for a mercy stoppage from the corner. 89-81 Caballero
