The HBO Boxing Broadcast Team is a Damn SNORE-FEST!!!

Give me SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING'S Broadcast team of Gus Johnson, Al Berstein and Antonio Tarver any day of the F***ING week. Hell even add Nick Charles and Steve Farhood to the mix also.

Listening to Steward and Merchant was just plain awful...the good part was that I didn't have to listen to Max "Bitcherman".

 

lol! the boxing coverage provided by sky in the U.K is always pretty good, same again goes for this fight.

Now if they just got rid of Johnny Nelson in the studio and replaced him with someone who isn't a dickhead, they'd be going places.

 

yeah he can be annoying at times if sky could get barry mcguiness, i think that would be good, i've always enjoyed his views whilst watching boxing on itv/setanta.

I just turned away from the post fight commentary to watch an NBA game (Warriors vs Clippers). Damn, it's sad that I'd rather watch two "Bottom-Dwellers" of the NBA than to listen to Larry F***ING Merchant!!!!

 

Lampley always gives his all.

I wouldn't trade him for anyone.

 

Foreman needs to come back to provide some foil for Lampley's know it all attitude. Steward is so colorless. He's like some simpleton born only to train fighters and do nothing else in life.

Jim Lame-ley is the worst commentator in the sport. He's so biased, he might as well as have an 'HBO employee' shirt on. I like Steward. He's insightful, if not stimulating. Merchant is/was an ATG commentator, but I really wonder if he's just way too past it. The extended pauses and seemingly confused utterances are uncomfortable at best.
