what happen to all you bjj nut huggers who were actually giving maia a shot the other day?

This was exactly as predicted, a replica of the leites fight.

Oh and btw Gsp would probably lose in the same fashion.

Anderson Was clowning, but what do you expect when you give him 1 dimensional fighters?

OuttieDrake the UFC matchmaker, who would you pit next, to fight Anderson Silva?

I want a guaranteed exciting, action packed fight.

Name at least 2 possible opponents.

Silva is a *****. I can't believe people are defending him, making it out like he is the victim. He crossed the line with the disrespect he showed in the first two and half rounds especially considering he was fighting like a ***** himself. How can you justify all that showboating and bullying when your not attacking yourself?

Maia had a broken nose and one of his eyes was shut but he was still coming forward swinging against the supposed ATG striker, isn't that what Silva and his fanboys wanted?

From what I saw Silva did not win the second half of the fight.

The UFC just needs to feed him to the wolves at 205 or let him fight RJJ. He couldn't finish a bjj guy in a stand up fight so how is he going to deal with a real boxer like RJJ?

They shouldn't let him get away with fighting a smaller guy in GSP next either.

I Silvas fight against Maia proved anything its that Silva is not the P4P numero uno.

Good God the fight was awful.

Depending on Belfort's injury he would be next but Sonnen will be ready if Belfort isn't.

And quit blaming Dana and Joe Silva for the matchmaking, Belfort was hurt,Sonnen had a medical suspension and Marquardt was just tooled by Sonnen. Maia was next in line, you can't blame the UFC because Anderson goes out there and has a glorified sparring match. The ref even warned him to quit running, the guy is only embarrasing himself and he is starting to make a habit of doing it.

I agree, I don't wanna see him fight a WAY smaller guy.

He needs to fight Belfort or bring in Mousasi!!! Or for **** sake atleast fight Rampage or Shogun, someone with a little bit of stand-up who isn't smaller then he is.

Uh well, he could have actually knocked him out. Instead he looked like an idiot clowning and taunting, and even still couldn't take out Maia when Damien mounted a brief attack.

This ridiculous idea being thrown around that Anderson can't be blamed for his shitty performance because Maia is one dimensional and posed no real competition is the height of stupid. If Maia is indeed so bad then Silva should have got him out of there right away.

Exactly, he won't fight because his opponent isn't worthy? all he has to do is ko the guy and look good doing it if it's that easy.

Yes, let's remember it was Silva who got a warning from the ref for inactivity, not Maia.

    I just saw the fight.

It's not as horrible as many of the posters (and sports writers) described it.

It wasnt Silva's shining moment of his career, but it wasnt as bad as it was described.

A bit disappointing, not that great of a complete performance, but I'm still a fan.
