For some reason I've never had a problem watching that fight but I've never rewatched Eubank-Watson II.
Seeing anyone take a life altering beating is never comfortable. I can't watch Cotto-Margo, and I can't watch Benn-Mclellan amongst others.
have u seen the clip on youtube with teddy blackburn. hat brought a tear to my eye as did the 1 darren barker did not so long ago on itv4 when talking about his brother
Maybe King was paying the London hotel bills for McClellans entourage? Its the sort of tight-arse move that DK would pull.
Yup, the only time i think i have ever posted on a Bunce hour thread was when he spilt all this. Blew ma head, was a fair few weeks ago i think.
I did pretty much the same thing to both fights at the time too, that's just the nature of boxing and what it is - or was.
Isn't it a bit late in the day, after all these years, for such a Bunce revelation though? or has he always said this: I guess he has - or will say he has.
As someone else has said, I remember hearing that McClellan had gone back to America too early and against Doctors advice but before now I've not heard anyone word it as strongly as to say it was the difference between him being as he is today instead of how (say) Spencer Oliver is today.
I have written this several times in the last 15 years - it's not new and it's not exclusive. King and Warren produced damning documentation, including the staggering Steward stuff. King, by the way, was in no hurry to get GM home. Adios.
