The Titans are pretenders and are the team to pop up your for and against :yep Souths will nail them later on in the season, even with the referee being on your side.
If Thurston is gone for the year, they'll be hovering around Sharkies and Broncos territory (which is spoonville).
I dont give the Cowboys even half a chance even with a fully fit on fire Thurston. Tigers defence is shocking, if they fix that up they are a chance to lift a level or two. Benji Marshall will do his shoulder within the next few weeks and be out for the season :deal
Manly do hammer the Titans every year and I know exactly why. Manly have the thuggish pack of forwards that just eats up the Titans defence. I guarantee you the bunnies wont touch them at the fortress skilled park :deal These pretenders have my 1000 bucks riding on them all the way to round 26
Going ok so far, if Bird keeps improving you just may have a shot at it. Still, the Dragons will be hard to run down in the season.
I have absolutely no confidence in Titans winning the comp but they do have an awesome record home and their team has improved from last year with some good buys so i thought minor premiership will be the best shot. They were only 2 pts off it last year.
The Bulldogs have lost a bit of their mongrel in the forwards, and Kimmorley is starting to remind me of Stacey Jones during his last year. Ben Barba looks like a star in the making though. Will be interesting to see how he develops. Parra are playing very ordinary at the moment. Their 6 and 7 are playing like they're the worst halves pairing in the comp. They'll get better as the year goes by, but they'd wanna be able to pick up a few wins in the meantime.
ben barba is an absolute talent and a half, cant tackle but jeese with ball in hand that kid is exciting and i hate the bulldogs!! parra are an ordinary team to be honest, apart from hayne they aint that much, they let go of there best junior to cronulla (albert kelly) although that cant be seen now by how crap cronulla are... dragons, melb, titans & manly are the most consistent during the year, but dragons and titans arent proven finals teams... so its going to be interesting who can kick up a gear.. thurston going means cowboys are gone for the year

"Then some of their class took over. We had an inexperienced group and Manly are always very tough. But some parts of our play, we threw in the towel. "That is uncharacteristic for this team. That disappointed me most as the coach." Reminded how he always stuck by his side, Stuart said: "I'm just telling the truth. "I don't want that to make a beautiful headline tomorrow. "We were outclassed on the edges. "We were beaten by some very good footballers." Sharks fullback Albert Kelly had a particularly unfortunate game. His confidence looked shaken, his options questionable. There is no doubt the youngster has skill - but errors are killing his game. Cronulla fumbled, bumbled and threw forward passes. Even their best player, Paul Gallen, coughed up the possession which led to Manly's final try. "It all fell apart," said Cronulla skipper Trent Barrett. "But they are a good side.
