David Haye doesn't have a fight lined up, Audley Harrison may drop the European title rather than face the mandatory challenger.
Think about it logically... Haye versus Harrison would be a big fight in the UK.
Haye would likely take it, Harrison certainly would.
Is Haye more likely to face Chagaev or Valuev rather than Harrison? I doubt it.
Audley would stand more chance against Haye than Wlad, but the power he carries could handle both. Imagine one of those big timed punches catching Wlad or Haye.

So, my prediction... Haye versus Audley may be close. Especially if neither fight Wlad or Vitali. Build in a nice little rematch clause, good marketing and it could be a huge all UK Heavyweight title fight. Audley to some extent has done his bit, winning prize fighter and the KO of Sprott. The European title and 4 wins in a row should give him a ranking of sorts. There is no excuse here, apart from some step aside cash for Valuev to take the WBC route.

    What do you think? :huh:good

Just...no. This would be a disgraceful choice just like it would have been to pick Hopkins as an opponent. I think Haye has more integrity than to select Audley Harrison as his next opponent, no matter how much money it would make (not as much as a fight with either Klit though).

Oh, and Haye finishes him off inside of 2 rounds.

I want to see Harrison in with more more decent fighter first to see if the aggression in that last round against Sprott has stuck with him.

Then we can talk about him as a low-risk name opponents for the best fighters in the world. Only, if he is actually an aggressive fighter now, he is actually high risk, for anyone.

    Nah, not having it.

He needs a fight to vindicate himself as European Champ before any talk of moving on.

Take the (Vacant) Belt away for a sec and look at the facts.

Does a win over Sprott, 5 losses in his last 7, qualify you for a World Title Shot?

PLEASE stop with this garbage. Audley Harrison is nothing, why on earth are we talking about this guy alongside Haye or Klitschko.

He beat Michael Sprott who has FOURTEEN defeats, who has lost to Ustinov, Bidenko, Skelton, a shot Lamon Brewster recently, in the last round when he was behind by 5 points.

It was a dramatic victory, not a fight worthy of a European title but fair play he's got it and now he should defend it and stop with the pipedreams.

Skelton and Danny Williams have had shots at the World Title, neither embarrased themselves and nobody complained.

In theory its great, in reality Audley doesn't throw a punch because he's scared and eventually open mouthed doesn't see one and gets starched. There are far more credible opponents for Haye, it would make him look like a joke.

Williams looked every inch the domestic fighter out of his depth against Vitali. Skelton's only saving grace was that Chagaev was rusty and even then he lost all bar two rounds.

I actually believe that Haye would win this in 1 round.

    You're not the only one.

I was thinking, imagine if Haye hit Audley with a similar shot that put Ruiz on his arse in the 1st round! If Audley was'nt ko'd, he'd be shitting himself to such an extent that his punch output would drop from 4 punches a round to 2
